General Terms/Conditions for all Tours & Shuttle Services
TOUR SPECIFIC TERMS OF USE: PORTLAND CITY TOUR TERMS - All tours are private. Your tour is scheduled as a private tour; however, a private tour is not guaranteed. In the event of your tour becoming a mixed-group tour, you will be notified ahead of time and your cancellation policy will become void. Quoted rate is valid for up to 4˝ hours. Your tour may require a 9:30AM or 2:30PM tour pickup time unless you are combining your tour with another tour, or a custom pickup time on request. Admission fees apply of approx. $18 per adult, unless your tour is customized to include anything other than our 2 standard stops at the Japanese Gardens and Pittock Mansion, in which case the cost will be customized also. GOURMET PICNIC LUNCH: We are proud to offer a Portland City Tour Gourmet Picnic Lunch ($12 pp); which may be ordered at tour booking or at the start of your tour. This would be the perfect complement to your tour, while you enjoy the view of Portland. 30 minutes are added to your tour if you order a picnic lunch, not guaranteed. COLUMBIA R. GORGE TOUR TERMS- All tours are private. Your tour is scheduled as a private tour; however, a private tour is not guaranteed. Tours where the pick-up is in the Columbia River Gorge are approximately 7 hours long, and may include a pick-up location charge if east of Hood River; hourly charges begin at 7.5 hours into the tour. $9-15 pp applies for the magic mile chairlift ride. Operates Sat. - Sun 11-2:30, weather permitting. 'Recession Limo' pricing is available for this tour; please inquire. MT. HOOD WINTER EXCURSION TERMS: All services are private. Your service is scheduled as a private service; however, a private service is not guaranteed. In the event of your service becoming a mixed-group service, you will be notified ahead of time and your cancellation policy will become void. Point to Point Shuttle Transportation Only. Service comes with our Standard Partial Tour Guide (Mt. Hood tour only). For a concierge service at Timberline Lodge: add $25/hour + $15 for the Magic Mile chairlift while at the lodge. Other guide/concierge options are available; please inquire. Pickup times from 9:01PM-6:59AM; add $25 per vehicle. Vehicle hourly rate wait time charges apply 15 minutes from your scheduled pickup time. Service includes a dedicated driver & limo ready to depart from Portland and Mt. Hood at your desired scheduled time and a pickup location anywhere in downtown Portland. Additional costs may apply each way for pickup locations outside of downtown and within or out of the Portland Metro area. Additional costs may apply for more than 1 Mt. Hood destination or for a dedicated hourly service. Coffee and/or hot chocolate beverages are available on request. Alcoholic beverages (customer supplied) are permitted of persons age 21 or over. Maximum 94 persons. * TRAILHEAD RELEASE AGREEMENT: Some of our tours are in the near vicinity of waterfalls, steep cliffs, vehicle traffic and other hazards along the stops on the tours. Therefore, care should be taken, especially for children, when near or crossing highways or getting to the viewing areas of the tours, or at any other location on our tour. While we consider our tours to be completely safe; in wilderness areas such as the Columbia River Gorge, Mt. Hood or the Oregon Coast, possible wilderness dangers are always present. If you plan on hiking on any trails, a Trailhead Release Agreement form will be required for your tour. Our employees will not accompany your group on the hike. In fact, our tour ends at the trailhead, and begins again at the trailhead on your return. Optional hikes are not recommended for children or pets. Though most trails are continually within earshot of running water, you should plan on carrying your own supply for longer hikes. Some cliff sections (on certain hikes) are extremely exposed, so anyone subject to vertigo should proceed carefully, and turn back if the first set of cliffs are uncomfortable... they may only get higher, and more exposed! On most available hikes, the elevation gains are modest, with gradual climbs spread throughout the hike. However, the trail surfaces are often rocky and uneven, and anything less than a good pair of hiking shoes or boots is not adequate. Also keep in mind that the Columbia Gorge is home to poison oak and other poisonous plants, and they grow along some trails. If you're susceptible to it, keep an eye out in sunny, open cliff-tops and open oak forests. Long pants are a good idea is you're particularly sensitive.
