From the Ice Age floods that created the Gorge to the native peoples who called it home for thousands of years, there is much to discover about this beautiful place.  The Columbia R. Gorge Tour (advanced booked) can be customized with an additional ½ day tour, restaurant stop, hike, or a Sternwheeler cruise on the Columbia.  Please inquire about customizing your tour with our ideas or any of yours!

• Standard options for your ½ day tour - 4 hours:

  • LUNCHES:

    • Order a gourmet picnic lunch from My Chauffeur. $$ (10-20 pp)

    • Stop at Multnomah Falls restaurant at Multnomah Falls Lodge (additional tour costs may apply. $$ (10-30 pp)

    • Order lunch at the Multnomah Falls Lodge Espresso Cart and Snack Bar offer a variety of hot/cold drinks and food (turkey wraps, vege wraps, hot dogs, chips, ice cream, fudge etc. to go. $$ (5-10 pp)

• Standard options for your ¾ day tour - 5-6 hours: (lengthen your tour to 5-6 hours or possibly include the below options in your standard 4 hour tour.  Consult with our staff for itinerary and pricing)*.

  • LUNCHES:

    • Stop at Multnomah Falls restaurant at Multnomah Falls Lodge. $$ (10-30 pp)

  • Historic Bonneville Dam & Fish Hatchery. (A 'stones throw' from Multnomah Falls, this addition is convenient to add or substitute for other stops.  See salmon & sturgeon up close and view the inner workings of this magnificent dam.

  • Top of Multnomah Falls (to the top; 2.5 mile hike RT)

  • To the upper Latourell Falls (to the base of the upper falls; 2.4 mile hike RT)

  • Wahkeena & Fairy Falls (2 mile hike Rt)

  • Larch Mountain Trail & Overlook/Viewpoint (spectacular viewpoint of 7 mountains; Mt. Hood, Mt. St. Helens, Mt. Rainier, Mt. Adams & Mt. Jefferson, Three Sisters, Broken Top & maybe even Mt. Washington)

  • Include a restaurant lunch or dinner stop along the route at the Multnomah Falls Lodge restaurant, The View Point Inn or Tad's Chicken 'n Dumplings in Troutdale or at either the Columbia Gorge Hotel or Full Sail Brewery in Hood River or another Hood River restaurant.

The Hood River Blossom Fest, now over 50 years old, celebrates the arrival of spring with events and attractions throughout the Gorge over these three special weeks in April.

* A Trailhead Release Agreement form may be required from each member of the group.  If you choose to take any hike beyond the standard described in the basic Columbia River Gorge tour, whether short or long, this form will be required from all group members.  The chauffeur/tour guide will not be allowed to accompany your group on any hike.  Be prepared for inclement weather (rain, snow, cold, etc.).
